Amazing man. Sems that he never compromised his principles, not even for his own ethnic identity. An American/Texas patriot. That is what sets America apart rom the rest of the world. We are a diverse people, united by a clear vision of right and wrong. It is sad that every american does not have that keen sense of judgement, in his day and in ours.

My son and I were researching Juan N. Seguin for a Texas History project, we hope to do him justice. He is a truly impressive person. There is so much we didn't know of him.

I´m a big admirer of Juan Seguin. It started with Jack Jackson´s graphic novel about Seguin, "Los Tejanos", in 1982, and later on I read De La Teja´s book about Seguin, which included Seguin´s autobiography.
I also loved the movie, "Seguin", from 1981 and "The Alamo" movie from 2004, in which Seguin plays a big part.
Seguin was a great Texan, a great patriot, a courageous soldier and a man of great character and morals.
I´m glad this website has been created as a homage to Seguin.
May God protect his legacy and his family!
